World Morgan Futurity Entries Due

World Morgan Futurity show entries are due August 1 for those horses showing in the Futurity classes in Oklahoma City this October. Show forms can be found at www.worldmorganfuturity.com . Please send all Futurity show fees to Kelly McFaul, 206 S Lark Ln., Wichita, KS 67209. For questions on whether your horse is current with nominations, call Kelly at 316-650-2287. Futurity horses also need to be entered on the Grand National show entry blank, with all fees paid and sent to the Grand National secretary.

Futurity horses that are a result of a breeding purchased at the AMHA/WMF Stallion Service Auction are eligible for the $10,000 auction bonus. The bonus is still up for grabs for the Class of 2008. If eligible, any one of the five futurity class winners could take home this bonus. Another $10,000 bonus is also now available for the Class of 2009.

In 2009, the World Morgan Futurity paid out over $245,000. In addition to the regular jackpot, a portion of the proceeds from the AMHA/WMF Stallion Service Auction is added, as well as the proceeds from the WMF Training Month and Publications Auction. All of this money combined with interest, donations and other fund raisers is paid back, rewarding our breeders who participate in the World Morgan Futurity.

For more information on nominating your foals, contact Barb Rudicel, brudicel@aol.com, or Kelly McFaul, kellymcfa@aol.com.
