World Morgan Futurity Trainer/Publication Auction

The World Morgan Futurity's annual Trainer Services & Publications Auction closed on November 1st and reported a total of $25,100 in total income from bidders. This very popular on-line auction gets its kick-off each year at the Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show, which is also where the World Morgan Futurity classes are featured. The proceeds from this auction are added to the Futurity's premiums, including $5,000 set aside for their lucrative Auction Rewards Program that is distributed to the winning get that are a direct result of stallion services that have been purchased through the WMF/AMHA Stallion Service Auction each year.

Included in the auction were full-page color ads from The Saddle Horse Report, Morgan Horse, Morgan Connection, and Grand National Show Program. Highlighting the auction were 38 different training months, donated by the trainers who support the World Morgan Futurity by showing their nominated horses each year. In 2010, the following trainers donated a month of training services to the auction:

GlynRae Stables/Glynis Snowden, Triumph Stables/John & Belle Hufferd, Diane Conrady, Rick Davis, Bert Earehart/Copper Leaf Stable, Jean DeGutis/Equitation Unlimited, Gwinfield Farm/Jonalyn Gwinup, Peeper Ranch/Phil Fountain, Broadmoor/Mike Goebig & Dwayne Knowles, Trafalgar/Daryl Hopson & Greg Ferguson, Blackridge/Bob Hughes & Debi Jeppesen, Fire Run Farm/Rod Fletcher, Tara Farm/Ken & Diana Swanson, Kelly Kraegel/Cottonwood Creek, Lyle & Colleen Wick/Hardwood Creek, Garn Walker, Sebring Stables, Bre Schultz/Northern Wind, Grove Pointe Farm/Tim Roesink, David Rand, Waterford Farm/Lynn & Kathy Peeples, Forest Nealon/Illahee, Judy Nason/Belleweather, Christine Nava/Timber Hill Stable, Mike & Liz Murphy/Legacy Stable, Ann & Frank Miller/Miller Equestrian Services, Rushton Stables/Gerry Rushton & Stacey Hennessey, Dragonfire/Earl & Jennifer McFall, Reindance/Sally Lindabury & Jennifer Lake, Black Orchid Stable/Percy McDaniel, Sterling Training Center/Katie Mair & Craig Clapp, Indian Creek Farm/Kurt Hufferd & Shanna Gish, Playmor Farm/The Hazen Family, Mike Carpenter, Merriehill/The Bodnar Family, Cheri Barber, Taylor River Farm/Richard Boule & Sarah Gove.
