2007 Wisconsin Limited Breeders’ Stallion Auction

The 22nd annual Wisconsin Limited Breeders’ Stallion Service Auction will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 at the Radisson Hotel in Pewaukee, Wis., a suburb of Milwaukee. A special room rate is available by calling the Radisson at (262)506-6300. The evening will begin with complimentary cocktails and a silent auction at 4:30. Dinner will begin at 6. The live stallion service auction will immediately follow dinner featuring the nation’s most sought-after stallions. The resulting weanlings will compete for substantial prize money at the Wisconsin Futurity in 2008. New this year, cash prizes will be awarded at the end of the Stallion Auction.

In 2006, this lucrative Breeders’ Stake paid out $83,100 with $29,240 to first place and $2,000 to the 10th place winner. Visit the Wisconsin Futurity Web site at www.wisconsinsaddlebred.com for the current list of stallions committed to the 2007 auction as well as rules and stallion contracts. The Web site will update stallions on a weekly basis right up until the auction.
