Wisconsin Futurity Releases 2004 Stallion Auction Results



The 19th annual American Saddle Horse Breeders Futurity of Wisconsin, Inc. Stallion Auction was held Saturday, Jan. 17 at the Radisson Hotel in Pewaukee, Wis. A crowd of nearly 100 was present for the auction and 111 stallions were represented. As of Jan. 19 the auction had raised $80,000 with 73 stallions sold. Thirty-eight stallions are still available for sale. The deadline for bids on unsold stallions is Saturday Jan. 31, 2004. Bids will be accepted by telephone to Rick or Cindi Luft at 920-836-2520 or to Paulette Healey at 262-242-2559. The futurity classes will be held at the Wisconsin Futurity Horse Festival at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis., Sept.15-19. A complete list of stallions sold and those still available can be found in the Saddle Horse Report issue dated January 26, 2004.
