The winners of The Summer Challenge of Champions Horse Show slated Aug. 6-7 will once again receive equine head sculptures by noted artist Patricia Crane, officials said.
Crane’s newest sculputure, Nocturne, will be awarded to winners in 23 of the 32 classes. The show is conducted by the Kanawha Valley Horseman’s Association, at the Winfield Riding Club Show Grounds in Winfield, WV.
Now in its third year, the show has expanded to a second night and has selected the Make-A-Wish Foundation as this year’s charity.
Melinda Moore will judge and Linda Wallaber will be the photographer. The KVHA has upgraded the facility, which now features covered show and warmup rings and 210 permanent stalls. For more information, all Lisa Lawrence, (304) 744-3732.
