Undulata’s Nutcracker Purchased by Schones and Jampsa

Big news from the breeding world involves the purchase of the much talked about five-year-old stallion Undulata’s Nutcracker by Schones & Jampsa LLC of Louisville, Ky. The son of CH Caramac and Christmas In New York ERB (by The New York Times) was owned by Hoppy Bennett of Undulata Farm. He will continue to stand at Joan Lurie’s Willowbank in Simpsonville, Ky., and now standing to the public by private treaty.

With only nine colts on the ground, Undulata’s Nutcracker is already the sire of 2005 Weanling Breeder’s Stake World’s Champion Undulata’s Nuts and Bolts. Last season this outstanding individual bred some of the best  show mares and producers in the country.

“We are very excited about this opportunity,” said David Jampsa, one of the stallion’s new owners. “With the colts that are already on the ground and the babies that will be born this year out of a great group of mares, we feel this horse has a chance to make a real impact on the breed.”
