Tandy Patrick Appointed to Kentucky State Fair Board of Directors

Lexington, Kentucky ­– The Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Ernie Fletcher, has appointed Tandy Patrick, a longstanding member of the American Saddlebred Horse Association, to the Kentucky State Fair Board of Directors, effective immediately.  Ms. Patrick, of Louisville and Lexington, will serve in the seat designated to be appointed by the Governor from a list of candidates suggested to him by the American Saddlebred Horse Association.

Fred Sarver, president of the American Saddlebred Horse Association, expressed his delight with the appointment, on behalf of the board of directors.  “Tandy and all the other individuals whose names we submitted to the Governor are highly qualified, and we were confident that however the Governor decided this appointment, the Saddlebred breed and all equestrian and other interests of the Kentucky State Fair would be very well-served.”
