A Standing Ovation for the 2007 Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show

Saturday featured the final day of competition at the 2007 Grand National and World Championship Morgan Horse Show. The eight-day showcase of the Morgan breed received a standing ovation from all in attendance as did many of Saturday night’s championship performers. The show ended in dramatic fashion with the Park Saddle World Grand Championship as four multi-world titled stallions battled in true world championship style. Lamborghini In Black and David Rand closed out the show with a magnificent performance to garner the unanimous victory for Dr. Grace Steere.

The evening was filled with some of the breed’s greats enjoying spotlight performances. The celebrated CCR’s Outrajus Corajus and Gerry Rushton enjoyed a unanimous rose-adorned victory pass in the Pleasure Driving World Grand Championship for Richard and Nan Ceccchettini. Dawn Fire and her wonderful mare Erotic Dancer celebrated the close of their illustrious teamwork as the Ladies Park Saddle World Champions. Bada Bing enjoyed another unanimous world title as Phil Alderman took over the reins for the Amateur English Pleasure World Championship. Lynn Peeples and Arboria Victorious sped away with the Roadster To Bike World Grand Championship as they crossed the finish line for Paul Calandra. Treble’s Tanqueray jogged away with his second set of roses in as many nights as Judy Nason guided The Fleck family’s grand stallion to the Western Pleasure World Grand Championship. The evening started off with a unanimous victory as Iann Fu Longenecker teamed with Dragonsmeade Fusion to score the honors in the Amateur Park Harness World Championship under the Blackridge banner.
