The fifth annual IASHA Spring Warm-Up, sponsored by UPHA Chapter 11 and the Indiana American Saddlebred Horse Association, will be ready to roll March 15-17 at C Bar C Expo Center in Cloverdale, Indiana. Randy Cates, Edmund, OK, will judge all divisions.

One of the fastest growing shows in the Midwest, the Spring Warm-Up is an ideal spot for exhibitors to debut new teams, as well as “test drive” seasoned veterans. The exhibitor friendly schedule begins with a Friday evening session at 7pm, March 15, concluding Sunday afternoon, March 17. The nearby Holiday Inn Express in Cloverdale and the Inn At DePauw (Walden Inn) in Greencastle will be horse show headquarter hotels offering special rates for exhibitorsImprovements to the C Bar C Expo were a big hit with exhibitors and trainers in 2012. Located only 25 minutes west of Indianapolis, this outstanding, heated, indoor show facility features 500 stalls, a 120 x 240 show arena, adjacent 120 x 200  make-up ring, excellent footing, ringside tables, concessions and vendor space all under one, enclosed roof.

The Spring Warm-Up offers complete divisions for Saddlebreds, Morgans, roadsters, open pleasure, Hackney ponies and equitation, plus over 40 academy classes for beginning through advanced riders in saddle seat, hunt seat and western. The NHS and UPHA Challenge Cup classes will be back, as will the Saddle & Bridle Shatner, Pleasure Medallion and Hunter Classic qualifiers. Spring Warm-Up will participate in the Hackney Adult Amateur Driving Challenge for 2013. The Spring Warm-Up is an Equine Services Roadster Cup series event, as well as Tri-State, Mid-America, IASPHA, OASPHA, IHPBEA and IASHA recognized.

Exhibitors will enjoy the Spring Warm-Up’s Hoosier hospitality, highlighted by the gala St. Patrick’s Day Exhibitor Party following Saturday evening’s show. The UPHA Chapter 11 Academy Club will once again host its popular special receptions for riders, instructors and parents after the academy sessions on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

Prize lists will be mailed in January. Information, including prize list, schedule and entry forms, will be available on the web at www.indianasaddlebred.com by the middle of January.

Entries close March 1 with post entries accepted. However, management encourages exhibitors to reserve stalls and ringside tables early – tables sold out in 2011 and 2012.
