Saddlebreds And Ponies Added to Michigan Breeders Show

Classes for American Saddlebreds and ponies have been added to this year’s Michigan Morgan Horse Breeders' Futurity and Fall Horse Show. The show will be held on September 18-20 at the Ingham County Fairgrounds in Mason, Michigan with Sandy Sessink judging all divisions. This show offers exhibitors the option of adding a class not already offered, provided it is purchased as an option class. The prize list is on line at michiganmorganfuturity.com and the deadline for entries is August 25. Late entries will be accepted for a $25 late fee per horse. The show offers hospitality every morning, a pizza party on Friday between sessions and an exhibitor’s party Saturday evening. Michigan Breeders is an approved 3-star Morgan show, which qualifies first and second place winners for the Grand National Morgan Show.

    Earlier today, we noticed that the server that supports the ASHBA database was experiencing a lot of activity. After a brief investigation, we discovered that certain parts of the system were being hit almost constantly and slowing down the server. This was leading to performance issues across the board. We pulled server logs and saw more than 77,000 requests for show results for this morning alone. Read More
