Dear UPHA Members,

Our Spring Board Meeting was very productive, and we’re excited to share a few highlights:

We’re seeing a great increase in new members—the largest growth we can remember in our history. Even more have joined since the meeting. I’d like to personally welcome our newest UPHA members—we’re glad to have you with us.

The Young Professionals have launched an “Around the World Challenge,” a fun and engaging "fun"draiser. Many of us have enjoyed the videos and the camaraderie they’ve created—and shared a few laughs along the way.

We are currently gathering quotes to purchase defibrillators for all Chapters to use at horse shows. The safety of our competitors, horses, and members is a top priority.

We’re pleased to welcome our new hire, Emily Peters, to the team as Program Coordinator.
The United Professional Women’s group is planning a retreat for December 9–11, 2026. This group has come together to support one another and has made great strides in a short time.

We are also discussing adding CPR classes at the Chapter level. I encourage everyone to get involved—safety is key to UPHA.

Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute time, energy, and ideas to move our organization forward. I’m proud of how UPHA is working together and setting the standard for our industry.
