Saddlebred Schedule Set for 2010 Alltech FEI Games

Lexington, Kentucky - The schedule is now set for American Saddlebred activities at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG), which will take place in Lexington, Kentucky, at the Kentucky Horse Park, from Saturday, September 25, through Sunday, October 10.

The first appearance by American Saddlebreds will take place as part of the WEG Opening Ceremonies, which are scheduled for 7 PM on Saturday, September 25, at the Main Stadium. Following the Opening Ceremonies, Saddlebreds will also be conducting breed demonstrations each day, from Sunday, September 26, through Saturday, October 9.

A full schedule of American Saddlebred appearances and activities at WEG, including the dates, times, locations, and names of specific Saddlebreds who will be performing, can be found here.

These scheduled appearances and breed demonstrations are the culmination of a concerted effort by the American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) and ASHA's WEG Committee to have as strong a presence for the American Saddlebred as possible.

ASHA will also have an exhibit space on site during the Games, which will be located at exhibit space #3 in the Equine Village.
