Saddlebred Blood Typing Fee Changes Announced

The University of Kentucky Laboratory has notified the American Saddlebred Horse Association that effective for samples received on or after Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, the fee for blood typing will be increased.
Further, the lab will not accept blood typing kits between Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 and Monday, Jan. 3, 2011. Due to these changes imposed upon the American Saddlebred Registry, we regretfully will not be able to process orders for blood typing kits between now and Jan. 3, 2011, and in order to cover costs for the increased fee, effective immediately, the new fee for blood typing kits will be $150.
