Roy W. Tuttle 71, born March 20, 1936 to Jessie Hendrixson and George Tuttle, and left this world on July 21, 2007. Roy was a Navy veteran and drove for Greyhound Bus Lines for more then 18 years. He was an accomplished equestrian, training horses for more then 40 years of his life, including working with Dorothy Long, the Veters at Maple Leaf, and Dr. Gene Scott, Inc. He later opened his own stable working out of Sweetwater Farm in Arizona.
He will be remembered as having the ability to bring out the best in everyone and everything he came in touch with. Roy loved traveling and spent the last years of his life traveling the open road, from Alaska to Indiana.
He married Jane McClung, and has joined her at the gates of heaven. Roy will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and man. He will be loved and remembered by his daughter, Dawn; son, Brian; and three grandchildren, Tanner, Travis, Tylor; his sisters, Alice, Grace, Cheri; and brother, Mike. He was preceded to heaven by sisters, Frances, Julia, Mary, and brother, Virgil. A memorial and celebration of life was held in McCordsville, Ind. on July 31, 2007.
