River Ridge Charity 2010



The 66th Annual River Ridge Charity Horse Show will be held on April 21-24, 2010 at the Ohio Expo Center and Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio. Invited to judge for all divisions is Mr. John Whalen of Monroe, North Carolina. River Ridge’s new website is www.riverridgehs.org.

River Ridge has expanded its show schedule this year by offering a Hackney Park Pleasure Driving, Modern Shetland classes, American Saddlebred Western and Hunter Prospect classes, and an an expanded equitation division including AMHA Metal classes for Morgan horse riders.

Come to River Ridge with an appetite! Here is a schedule of events for your dining pleasure:

A Grooms Luncheon sponsored by Honey Baked Ham will be held on Tuesday afternoon.

The "Welcome to River Ridge Pizza Party" will be held Wednesday evening right after the show.

The very popular Progressive Party will be held Friday evening after the show.

The eagerly anticipated "Cornbread and Chili Buffet" sponsored by Chuck and Lynn Hutchinson of World Champion Horse Equipment will be held on Saturday afternoon.

All this is in addition to a light continental breakfast each morning.

This year, for the convenience of trainers and exhibitors alike: Events@cbycox.com is offering a selection of boxed lunches which can be pre-ordered and will be delivered to your stalls. Please check website for forms and details.

Tired of waiting for the bedding to be put down in your stalls? Well then wait no more. Pre-bedding can be provided by Kuhlwein Services. Contact information is 740-983-6697.

On Friday, River Ridge is honored to hold the UPHA Pink Ribbon Ladies Five-Gaited class in support of breast cancer awareness and the Susan B. Komen.

River Ridge will once again benefit the Central Ohio Diabetes Association. The River Ridge Charity Horse Show contributes to the Women’s Board which has raised over $1,000,000.00 for the Central Ohio Diabetes Association. Funds raised by the Women’s Board go directly to support summer camps and scholarships for children with diabetes.
