“Ride With The Best” at Equine Affaire

Equine Affaire will return to the Eastern States Exposition in W. Springfield, MA, on November 8th through the 11th to celebrate the event’s 10th anniversary in New England with yet another exceptional program of clinics, seminars, and demonstrations. While clinics presented at the event will be catered to thousands of attendees who will be enjoying the sessions from the stands, Equine Affaire will also afford unique opportunities for selected horses and riders to participate in the dozens of clinics presented through the show’s signature “Ride With The Best” program.

Among the many outstanding clinicians who will be featured at the 2007 Equine Affaire and accepting horses and/or riders for their sessions will be Monty Roberts (Join-Up), David O’Connor (Eventing), Julie Goodnight (Straightforward Horsemanship), Anne Gribbons and Pam Goodrich (Dressage), Lynn McKenzie (Barrel Racing & Pole Bending), Nona Garson (Hunters/Jumpers), Richard Shrake (Resistance Free Training, Western Pleasure, Showmanship),Chris Irwin (General Horsemanship), Stacy Westfall (Reining; General Horsemanship), Lynn McKenzie (Barrel Racing; Pole Bending), Nona Garson (Hunters/Jumpers), Bob Jeffreys; Suzanne Sheppard (Trail Riding), Duane Esser (English, Hunter; Western Pleasure for Gaited Horses), Mary Donald (Easy Gaited Horses), Lew Sterrett (Principle-Based Training), Colleen Kelly (Rider Biomechanics), and Judy Wardrope (Riding for Functional Conformation).

Equine Affaire’s “Ride With The Best” program not only offers rare opportunities for both horses and riders to receive personalized training from top trainers and coaches, but offers these opportunities for modest clinic fees ranging from only $50 to $175 that includes admission to Equine Affaire and stabling. Clinicians select the participants for their sessions from written applications and videos submitted to Equine Affaire. For detailed information on the clinic topics, dates, times, and fees and an application, contact Equine Affaire’s Program Director, Coagi Long, at clong@equineaffaire.com or (740) 845-0085 ext. 114.
