In a recent tribute to the former Fine Harness World’s Grand Champion CH Vanity’s Showcase one of her trainers was inadvertently omitted. David “Butch” Payne trained and showed the great mare while he headed the training duties at Linda Johnson’s Foxfire Stud. Payne is currently a trainer at Melissa Moore’s Sunrise Stables, a position he has held for many years.
