The Heartland Extravaganza will host the $2,000 Yearling Breeder's Sweepstakes Championship. The prize money will be paid back over six places in a yearling class open to colts, geldings and fillies. To qualify, the yearling must have shown in the $500 Yearling Sweepstakes Qualifier held May 1, 2004, at the Spring Getogether also in Winona, Minn.

The Morgan Trail Horse Challenge awards will be presented here also. The top three Morgans earning points in Ranch Horse Versatility and Trail classes at the May 1-2 Spring Getogether Shows and at the Heartland Extravaganza will be awarded cash and prizes.

The show will also offer a wide selection of Junior Exhibitor classes, AMHA Medals and UPHA classes. In addition, the Heartland Extravaganza will host a Youth of the Year Contest with a $500 scholarship going to the senior winner. There will be a Youth room at The Heartland Extravaganza where youth groups from the area will be able to socialize as well as to put up visual displays depicting what they have learned at the various activities planned throughout the winter months.

Spring Getogether May 1-2, 2004, and Heartland Extravaganza June 17-20, 2004, are being held at the brand new exciting, indoor Minnesota Equestrian Center in Winona, Minn., on the Wisconsin border east of Rochester, Minn. You can visit the web site www.minnesotaequestrain.com.
