Payne Joins Escalade Stables as Trainer

David “Butch” Payne has joined Kathy Capsuto’s Escalade Stables as trainer. Payne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the facility. He has worked for a long list of accomplished horsemen and women including Tom Moore, Donna Moore, Nelson Green, Jim B. Robertson, Melissa Moore, Redd Crabtree, Melinda Moore and Don Brookshire.
“I am excited to have Butch here at Escalade,” said Capsuto. “He has so much knowledge and experience and we are excited about the upcoming show season for the horses and ponies in training with him.”
Escalade Stables is located in Shelbyville, Ky., and has several promising prospects being prepared for the show ring. Outside horses and ponies are accepted.
