Passing of CH A Step Of Time

Current WCC CH A Step Of Time died Monday, Jan. 8th due to complications from colic surgery. Sired by Time Willing by CH Will Shriver and out of L.A. Fictitious, "Snorty" was one of the amateur park division's most accomplished champions. He teamed up with owner Luanne Kilday in 1999 at the age of six and together they amassed an incredible list of 91 wins and reserves in their career together, first under the direction of Steve Hanks and then Debbie Foley. They won the Amateur Park World's Champion of Champions title in 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2006 and the amateur stallion/gelding world's title all four of those years as well. In addition, Snorty was a two-time reserve world's champion and two-time reserve world's champion of champions with Kilday between 2000 and 2006.

CH A Step Of Time was a many-time Saddle Horse Report Highpoint Report Champion and had just been named the 2006 Amateur Three-Gaited Park Horse Of The Year at the UPHA/AHHS Convention in Cincinnati; both awards he had won several times.

Editor’s note: A full tribute to CH A Step Of Time will follow at a later date.
