Oklahoma Centennial Is A Go
Friday, January 29, 2010
It was announced by the Oklahoma Centennial show committee that this year’s show is set for April 8 - 11. This is a new format with the show starting on Thursday morning and ending Sunday around noon. This move was made to accommodate the junior exhibitors who are having a harder time missing school.
A familiar face on the southwest circuit as both a steward and show manager, Nancy Braesicke was named the new manager of the Centennial that will feature Saddlebred, Morgan and Hackney classes. The Academy division has been dropped from this year’s schedule.
Also new for 2010, the show will be held in the ring in the main barn that is surrounded by stalls. Last year that ring had been used as a work/warm-up area. This year the warm-up ring will be right there in barn three so the entire show will be held in that main barn so exhibitors will never have to go outside or across the street.
More details will follow.
