Obituary-Harry Spotts

Posted February 25, 2002 Harry Spotts, Sr., age 93, of Eagleville, Tenn., died Saturday evening, February 23, 2002 in Lewisburg, Tenn., after an extended illness.
Spotts was a well-known Saddlebred horseman who was inducted into the UPHA Hall of Fame in 1997.
Spotts was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy Janet Spotts and later by his second wife Billye Noe Spotts who died in 1991.
He is survived by his sons Harry Spotts, Jr. of Chapel Hill, Tenn., Dr. Nelson Spotts of Orange Park, Fla., and his daughter Janet Stephenson of Jacksonville, Fla. He also had four grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, February 26, from 5:00 until 8:00 at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, Tenn. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 am at Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
