Obituary - Marc Gibson

Marc J. Gibson passed away January 20, 2006, at his home in Willisburg, Ky., after a brief illness. Born July 16, 1951, in Midland, Pa., Marc was the son of Donald and Cecilia Gibson of Sedona, Ariz. He is survived by his wife Nancy Cazel Gibson and his daughter Hannah Gibson. He is also survived by a sister, Liz Gibson and his nieces Brie, Ebie, and Kavaria and a nephew Ian. He was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Gibson.
Marc was a blacksmith for 31 years. He worked for notable horsemen such as Bob Gatlin, Donna Moore, Tom Moore, Dave Becker, John Jones, Barry Stumbo, Rich Robertson, Donnie Pyburn, Don Brookshire, Kalarama Farm and many others.
Marc enjoyed trail riding, farming and being in his shop making shoes. He loved people and especially loved being at the horse shows with his friends. But, the love of his life was his daughter, Hannah.
