Obituary - Jack Hill



Jack O. Hill, 77, of Escondido, Calif., died May 26 from complications of lung cancer. Hill was born in Janesville, Wis., on Oct. 20, 1929, and moved to San Diego in 1937 where he spent most of his life.  During the Korean War, Hill served in the air force.

 

Hill was a lifelong Saddlebred farrier on the West Coast and his son, John, and grandson, Tyler, both shoe Saddlebreds in Kentucky.  Hill’s granddaughters, Whitney and Kelly, have both shown Saddlebreds their entire lives with John and Renee Biggins.

         

He is survived by his wife, Maddie, son, John, and daughters, Jaclyn and Kimberly.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tyler, Whitney, Kelly, Kylee and Griffin.
