Nunley Stables To Stand Supreme Heir Son
Friday, February 12, 2010
Longtime friends Cheryl Rhoton and Tyler Nunley joined forces last year to purchase the blue-blooded, young stallion Who Wants To Be A Millionheir? from Hallston Manor of Clay, New York.
Rhoton and Nunley are standing the son of the legendary Supreme Heir and Callaway’s Sweet Sherry (by CH Will Shriver) at the Tyler Nunley Stables in Kingsport, Tennessee. He has 13 registered foals with another 10 on the way this year.
"We have one yearling on the farm and one baby on the ground," said Rhoton. "They have that Supreme Heir look and the stud has the best temperament in the world. We are looking forward to this coming crop as we have mares by Captive Spirit, Yorktown, Courageous Admiral, Desert’s Supreme Admiral, Revival and Attache’s Thunderbolt."
Some four years after his death Supreme Heir continues to top most of the sire rankings with champions in literally every division. Rhoton and Nunley have put together a nice band of broodmares to give Who Wants To Be A Millionheir? every chance to continue the heritage of his sire.
