Numerous Transactions at Brenda Benner Stables

Jessica, Ann and Rick Curl of Overland Park, Kan., recently purchased the talented five-gaited filly Callaway’s Jessica Fletcher from Callaway Hills Stable. Bob Brison represented Callaway Hills, and Brenda Benner was the agent for the Curls. Benner will show this young mare in the 2004 season while preparing her for Jessica Curl to ride in the future.

The Curl family also purchased Callaway’s Halley’s Comet, the All-American Three-Year-Old Three-Gaited Reserve Champion in 2003. Former trainer Larry Hodge, of Kalarama Farm, represented seller Misdee Wrigley of Hillcroft Farm. Halley’s Comet is by Callaway’s Blue Norther and out of Mahvalous Day. He will be shown in the three-gaited division by Jessica Curl.

Ann Curl will show Company Dude in the pleasure driving division for 2004 under the direction of Brenda Benner.
