N.T.A.S.H.A. Offers Scholarship for Junior Academy Exhibitor

The North Texas American Saddlebred Horse Association (NTASHA) is proud to offer a $400 scholarship to a junior academy exhibitor for the 2006 NTASHA Fall Classic Horse Show in October.

Eligibility for this scholarship is simple - any child (17 or under) in an academy lesson program who has never shown due to financial reasons is eligible. Trainers must nominate riders, and can submit up to two names by July 15, 2006. The scholarship is to be used expressly for show expenses, such as entry and stall fees, and will be credited at the show. NTASHA will draw the winning name at the club’s August meeting, and the child’s trainer will be contacted directly. The winner will be announced at the State Fair of Texas Horse Show 2006. The 14th annual NTASHA Fall Classic Horse Show will be held October 14-15, 2006 at Las Colinas Equestrian Center in Irving, Texas.

The North Texas American Saddlebred Horse Association (NTASHA) is a non-profit group dedicated to promoting the American Saddlebred horse in the North Texas area. The organization does this by providing opportunities for education in the breeding, caretaking, use, handling and development of American Saddlebred horses; encouraging good sportsmanship and proper conduct among horsemen and horsewomen; fostering good fellowship between North Texas American Saddlebred farms and stables; and by providing American Saddlebred horse trainers, owners and enthusiasts with convenient and economical local activities and competitive events.
