News from Arizona Saddlebred Futurity



The 33rd annual Arizona Saddlebred Futurity & ASHA Southwest Regional Championship Horse Show is again held at the world famous Westworld in Scottsdale, Arizona on October 26-28.

 

Featured judge, Mr. Steve Allred, Winston Salem, North Carolina will adjudicate Saddlebreds, Friesians, Tennessee Walking Horses, ponies, academy, and opportunity classes.

 

The Arizona Club has an international connection this year as Leo Maxwell, Fairfax Farms of Coutts, Alberta Canada will act as paddock manager and will join Kent Moeller, show manager from Powhatan Va. Sandy Backer, Fulton, Mo. is handling the coveted position of competition secretary in the production of this event.

 

Sheryl Craig will serve as USEF steward, and the club is pleased to feature Joe Husband as show announcer. He will be assisted by David Owens as ring steward, Bruce Faber as organist extraordinaire will delight both exhibitors and spectators. Casey McBride, respected photographer will be on hand to capture those winning minutes. Tonya Misurelli will manage the demanding position of barn manager and Monte Masterson will complete the roster as show farrier.
