NEMHS and Saddlebred Rescue’s Morgan Fund Raffle
Monday, July 16, 2007
Saddlebred Rescue, Inc. is extremely pleased to announce its partnership with the New England Morgan Horse Show (NEMHS) on a fund-raising raffle supporting the Morgan Rescue Fund.
The NEMHS has generously donated the use of a golf cart for the entire week of the 2008 Horse Show, and Jessie Pettie, well-known equine artist, has graciously offered one of her original works especially for this important event.
Saddlebred Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and re-homing American Saddlebreds, Morgans, Hackneys and other breeds from the killing pens at horse auctions where they are doomed to slaughter. Winner of the distinguished USEF 2006 “Heroes For Horses Award”, Saddlebred Rescue is a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible, charitable corporation. Saddlebred Rescue relies totally on donations to enable the rescue, care and adoption of our four-legged friends by loving volunteers.
Over 200 horses have found forever homes giving true happiness to their new owners in the industry as lesson, practice, or trail horses and loving companions. It is our belief that every Saddlebred, Morgan or equine of any breed deserve a safe and caring home to live out their lives.
The New England Morgan Horse Show is being held July 22-28, 2007 at the Three County Fairgrounds, Northampton, Mass. More information about the horse show can be found at www.nemha.com.
