Morgan World Futurity Online Auction

The Morgan World Futurity Online Auction raises money that goes back into the Futurity to provide additional breeders’ rewards. All the leading trainers and publications in the Morgan Horse industry have donated services to this year’s World Futurity online auction. This is a chance to bid on one month of training, full-page color ads, and even an adult riding clinic! The auction is already underway with bidding set to close on November 1.

Go to www.worldmorganfuturity.com and register to bid.

Publications that have donated full-page ads include Saddle Horse Report, The Morgan Connection, The Morgan Horse, and the 2008 Grand National Horse Show program.

Trainers who have donated a month’s training are as follows:

The generosity of the above trainers and publications is very much appreciated. Please show your appreciation to them by bidding generously.

Bidding works just like eBay… If a minimum opening bid is $400 and a person bids $700, the visible bid will be $400. The original bidder’s bid will rise only if someone else bids more. For example… if Bidder A bids $700, the bid will start at $400. If Bidder B bids $500, Bidder A’s bid will rise to $525. (Bidding increments are $25.) If two people bid the same amount, the first bidder has precedence.

The proceeds of this auction go back to the BREEDERS through the World Morgan Futurity. Money is given to owners of the dams of the winning Futurity horses, whose sires were also in the 2007 AMHA/WMF Stallion Service Auction, and to the Auction bonus ($10,000 given to the winning Futurity horse, if they were the product of the breeding from the SSA). This money is on top of the regular Futurity money, and the bonus AMHA/WMF Auction money. This year the WMF is awarding over $270,000. Please support the Futurity’s efforts and give these trainers and publications a deserving bid.

Remember - bidding ends November 1 at 9:00 pm (Eastern Time).
