Morgan Grand National to Offer Live Online Video

The Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show is proud to announce plans to bring this year’s show LIVE to you via the World Wide Web.

In cooperation with the American Morgan Horse Association, The Morgan Horse magazine, WdA Video, and Hawk Multimedia, the show will be available through pay per view via www.morgangrandnational.com or www.morganhorse.com.  Complete details and ordering information will be available in a few days.

“We are very excited to offer this year’s show live on the Internet,” said Show Chair Elaine Galatz.  “This will give friends and family at home the opportunity to share in the excitement and fun of the Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma City.”

All sessions and all classes held in the Main Coliseum as well as the Barn 6 Arena will be available for pay per view beginning on Saturday, October 7th and continuing through Saturday, October 14th.  The service will be available for $7.95 per day Saturday through Wednesday and $9.95 per day for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  A package discount will be available at $49.95 for the entire show or $19.95 for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Appropriate computer equipment and Internet bandwidth will be required.  With broadband, DSL, or a cable modem, customers should be able to receive a very clear picture with excellent audio.  Dial-up connections, however, are usually not suitable for receiving video streaming.

Competition begins Saturday, October 7th with three shows daily through Saturday, October 14th.  Show times will be at 9:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. each day.  Admission is free throughout the week with a nominal charge for weekend performances.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.
