Minion Millennium Highlights Triumph Stables Sales Activity

The highly successful breeding stallion Minion Millennium has been purchased by Rohrs Ranch of Columbia City, Ind. Sired by Minion Valentino and out of the Dee Cee Mr. Trophy daughter, Pompp And Pazazz, Millennium was represented on both buyer and seller's sides by John and Belle Hufferd of Triumph Stables, who will remain the managers and trainers for this successful sire.

Bred by Mike Pocobello's Minion Morgans and purchased by Margaret Van Meter in 2005, Millennium has headed the noted Van Meter Morgans breeding program for the past four years. His meteoric rise in the breeding ranks since his purchase by Van Meter began with the 2006 $70,000 Breeders’ Sweepstakes Champion foal The New Millenium, followed by 2007's champion, Jaklee Bravo Papa. Additionally, he has sired regional winners MSV Maximus, Realize, MSV Miss Judy, as well as national titleholders Reserve World Three-Year-Old Futurity Hunter Pleasure Champion Cherrydale Melania, World Futurity Yearling Filly Champion Harlan's Dutch Fantasy, Grand National Three-Year-Old Park Harness Stallion Champion Bri-B XTC and the Grand National Three-Year-Old Pleasure Driving Mare Champion MSV Genuine Risk.

The Rohrs Ranch also recently purchased Van Meter's very popular World Champion Aljak's Miss Wham I Am, dam of MSV Miss Judy, and intend to follow Margie's successful formula for breeding and cultivating world champions. John and Belle Hufferd are thrilled that Millennium will continue under their direction and are enthusiastic about his future with this devoted and positive new ownership.

Multiple World Champion Key Biscayne (Nobility x Nanton's Marcia A) was recently selected by Michael and Sara Foy of Firemark, Kingston, N.H., to be Sara's new amateur horse. Agents for the Foys, Tony and Cheryl Marcelonis of CPM Stables, will be the new trainers of this winning park and in hand stallion and sire. Breeders and former owners, Ron and Lori Skover of Key Morgans in Avoca, Mich., were represented in this sale by Triumph Stables.

Also heading to the East Coast is the lovely RWF Bellissima (Aljaks Double Whammy x RWF DiBella), a 2007 filly formerly owned by Joe and Eleni Partain, JSP Morgans of Haymarket, Va. The new owners of this flashy chestnut with lots of white trim are Walt and Margaret Gladstone of Bradford, Vt. Both buyers and sellers were represented by Triumph Stables in this sale.

Rounding out winter sales transactions is Renaissance Espionage (Ultras Special Agent x Renaissance Rachel), a four-year-old hunter pleasure gelding who was recently purchased by Dale and Susan Snow with Scott Travers, agent. Espionage was formerly owned by Bre Schultz of Manistee, Mich., with John and Belle Hufferd, agents.
