Letter to the Editor - Ellen Beard
Monday, April 5, 2004
Dear Editor,
Recently I made a decision to resign from my job at Cryst-A-Kell Farm after 13 seasons. I am leaving my friends and co-workers to allow for more family time. My decision did not come without great soul searching because I could not ask for a more caring and dedicated group of teammates than the team at CKF.
My family has been very supportive through out my career, but it is now time to be more available to them. I am not leaving the horse business all together just reorganizing to find a better daily balance.
I want to judge and give clinics more often. In addition to this I hope to do some freelance work when needed.
My husband Jeff and I have begun an ornamental metal design business which we intend to grow. Taylor and Molly continue to ride and participate in the horses as they wish.
I want to thank Larry, Carol, Crystal and Kelly Sanders for a wonderful experience.
James, Eden, Brian, Katie, Tess and the guys - thanks for always being there. I will miss you!
Finally, please remember I’m not going away just reorganizing. Good Luck this season.
Sincerely,
Ellen S. Beard
