Judy Whitney Harris Update

Hall of Fame trainer Judy Whitney Harris suffered a stroke Saturday night, June 23, at the Gold Cup Horse Show. The EMTs at the show as well as the local hospital responded immediately and started to care for Harris. She was later transported to Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, where doctors began conducting tests to analyze the severity of the stroke.

Friends report that Harris was up and walking a bit on Monday. On Wednesday, June 27, Harris moved to the Frazier Rehabilitation Institute in Louisville, Ky., where she will start rehabilitation.

The family deeply appreciates everyone’s well wishes, cards and notes, but respectfully requests "family only" visits for the time being.
