Iowa Horse Shows Associations Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet



The Iowa Horse Shows Association will hold their annual meeting and awards banquet on Saturday, February 4 at The Prairie Meadows Event Center, Altoona, IA.  Events begin at 3:30 PM with the annual membership meeting of both The Iowa Horse Shows Association and The Iowa American Saddlebred Association. At 5:30 PM the American Saddlebred Futurity of Iowa will hold their Stallion Service Auction. The Banquet and Awards ceremony will begin at 7 PM.

Highlights of this evening include presentation of awards to divisional winners, overall High Point winners in both English and Western and American Saddlebred Pleasure Horse Awards.   Sportsmanship awards are presented to one Adult and one Junior Exhibitor each year.  IHSA is also proud to present Champion and Reserve Champion Scholarship Awards to our Junior Exhibitor Equitation Cup winner and to our Junior Exhibitor performance Cup winner in the amount of $1,000.  Reserve Champions in both receive a $500 award.  A video featuring memorable show moments is a highlight of the evening.
