Indiana Morgan Classic Cancelled for 2006

Indianapolis, Indiana – The board of directors of the Indiana Morgan Classic Horse Show regrets having to announce the cancellation of this year’s show. The show was to be held June 29 – July 1, 2006 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The largest reason for canceling this year’s show is that a new Formula One car race is scheduled in Indianapolis at the same time and reserving hotel rooms for the dates became nearly impossible. 

“This was a really hard decision. The rooms, if you could find one, were so expensive and so far out of town that we just thought it would be too inconvenient for the exhibitors and officials,” said Horse Show President Shanna Gish.

 

“The Indiana Morgan Classic is known for its quality competition and outrageously fun parties, and we will be back in 2007.” said Gish. The show committee is currently working on new plans for next year that will make the show any even better competition.
