Hollow Haven Sales Activity Continues

Andy and Lynda Freseth of Hollow Haven Farm, Oconomowoc, Wisc., had an extremely busy year with sales in 2004 and that trend has continued into ‘05. Many of the big guns from the world class show string were sold last year including CH Blackberry Delight, CH Absolutely Exquisite, Like An Admiral, and New York Style.

The latest champion to be sold was Downtown Strutter. Owned by Nancy Leigh Fisher and shown by her daughter, Alice Unger, Downtown Strutter won the ladies amateur class at Milwaukee and the Amateur Five-Gaited Championship and qualifier at the Wisconsin Futurity last year in addition to taking top ribbons at Midwest, Louisville, and Kansas City.

Patricia Treiber is the new owner of Downtown Strutter and he will remain in training at Hollow Haven Farm. He will be shown by Paul Treiber in amateur gentlemen’s and amateur gaited events.

The Freseths have also been busy replacing some of their sold champions. His Supreme Reflection (Supreme Heir x Beat The Odds), the reserve world’s champion in the Two-Year-Old Fine Harness Kentucky Futurity last year has been purchased by Robert and Marilyn Gaiswinkler, former owners of Ladies Three-Gaited World’s Grand Champion Blackberry Delight. Melissa Moore of Sunrise Stables, who showed His Supreme Reflection to his reserve world’s championship, represented former owners/breeders Sandra Corney and Hallston Manor. The Freseths represented the Gaiswinkler family.

Also new to Hollow Haven is Fort Chiswell’s Hi Lite. This junior gaited gelding, formerly owned by Raye Lee Mills, is by Attache’s Royal Assets and out of She’s So Beautiful, the dam of She’s A Red Hot Chili Pepper. Peter and Kim Cowart of West Wind Stables, Statesville, N.C., represented the former owner, while the Freseths represented new owner Nancy Leigh Fisher.
