Grand Opening of Showplace for Saddlebreds



On Friday evening April 9 from 6:30 – 9:00 pm, the American Saddlebred Museum is celebrating the Grand Opening of its newly expanded and completely renovated Showplace for Saddlebreds. Everyone is invited! The facility boasts many new features, including: an entrance/exit into the campus of the Kentucky Horse Park; a Pathway from the Museum’s main entrance to the Horse Park’s courtyard; a dedicated gallery for the works of George Ford Morris; a dedicated changing exhibit gallery; a dedicated Gift Shop; a spectacular art glass theater; and a dedicated history wing.

Make your reservations now to attend the Grand Opening celebration. A complimentary Bourbon Tasting by Maker’s Mark will be the featured event, and each attendee will receive a souvenir Maker’s Mark glass! There will also be a dine around the new facility with an opportunity to see all of the new exhibits as well as the 2010 special exhibit, "This is the American Saddlebred," an exhibit geared to show international visitors the versatility of the breed.
