Freedman’s Holds Grand Opening at New Store in KY

Thursday night, February 15, was the beginning of a weekend-long grand opening celebration of Freedman’s new retail store in historic Midway, Kentucky. This is the first U.S. retail location for Freedman’s, a Canadian–based company. A good crowd wandered in and out all evening, most of whom were attending the ASHA’s Saddlebred Summit being held down the road apiece at Embassy Suites in Lexington.
In addition to the expected harnesses, saddles, bridles and other equine accessories, the new retail store features a host of luxury leather goods such as purses, totes, briefcases, luggage, and even furniture.
