Fireworks and Fun At Godsey Stables

Godsey Stables’ customers, friends and family enjoyed a huge barn party to celebrate the Fourth of July. Trainer Phil Godsey showed his 45 guests some of the show horses along with the gorgeous new foal by his stud Crack Shot and out of Sweet Dixie Rose. Young prospects and broodmares put on their own show in the pastures. The kids enjoyed bareback rides and basketball games. Chef Dean Beam kept the pork chops, chicken and burgers coming off the grill, served with homemade sides and desserts.
Godsey Stables is located in East Tennessee’s Johnson City. The barn overlooks the city park and offered a great view of the city fireworks display with patriotic music. Everyone had a great time.
