Fall Fundraising Efforts for Saddlebred Rescue

Louisville, KY – Some new fall fundraising efforts have been started and are underway to help benefit Saddlebred Rescue, Inc. The organization has a few ways to donate so everyone can pitch in even in tough economic times.

"Pennies for Ponies", a penny drive is going on. It’s open to anyone, but a great way to have fun at the barn or youth club. Gather only pennies and send them in – we accept them in bags, boxes, or even rolls! We will announce the donor that gives the most pennies!! It’s easy, a great way to get started is put a small bowl or box on your desk, and ask your friends and coworkers for their spare pennies. Remember, every penny counts!

Tired of the clutter in your closet? Have some riding clothes that are too small? Or have some items in your barn just collecting dust? Saddlebred Rescue is also holding a used clothing and used tack drive to put on ebay. The proceeds from the ebay auctions will benefit SBR. Look for details of items in future press releases! We already have accumulated some items which include saddles – you won’t want to miss this opportunity to Christmas shop and help horses in need!

Need a great gift for a horse person? Log onto www.horsetalesforthesoul.com . Click on the Holiday Tour and select Saddlebred Rescue under Kentucky. You can securely shop for some great items including the "Horse Tales for the Soul" book collection in print or in audio! A must have for your horse friends!
