Donna Moore Passes

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Hall of Fame legend Donna Moore early this morning (Saturday, January 18). She was born January 28, 1931 to the late Ray and Iva Hobbs in Kansas City, Mo. A pioneer for women in the show horse industry, Donna was part of one of the most powerful teams ever and then following her divorce from Tom Moore continued to pave her own way to become regarded as one of the all-time greats of our industry.

A well respected, trainer, judge, breeder and businesswoman, Donna played a large role in so many parts of the industry, in addition to passing on her knowledge to several professionals, including daughters Melinda and Melissa Moore.

More details will be posted as they become available. A complete tribute to Donna will appear in an upcoming issue of Saddle Horse Report.

Clark Legacy Center is handling the arrangements for Moore. Services are being planned for a later date.
