CH Boucheron Dies
Monday, April 3, 2006
There was sad news reported from Rob and Sarah Byers’s Premier Stables over the weekend. World’s Grand Champion CH Boucheron was found dead Saturday morning, April 1. The cause of death is unknown and results from the autopsy are not back. Violent storms had come through the area on Friday night, but it is not known if this had anything to do with the gelding’s death or not.
A several-times world’s champion, CH Boucheron was the people’s horse of 2004 with his charismatic comeback from a few seasons when he could not hold it together in the ring. He was the 2004 UPHA Five-Gaited Horse Of The Year in addition to winning the Five-Gaited Championships at Lexington, Louisville, and Kansas City.
Saddle Horse Report Online will have a complete tribute to CH Boucheron soon.
