This July marks the 70th year of the New England Morgan Horse Show. The New England show committee would like to invite all past and current exhibitors and friends to join them Thursday, July 23 at 7 p.m. under the tent to celebrate 70 years of history.

Starting the evening will be a Taste of New England Morgan which will include various food stations followed by dessert of ice cream and cake celebrating New England Morgan’s 70 years of excellence and Anna Ela’s 100th birthday.

A movie highlighting some of the past horses and people who have helped to make the New England Morgan Horse Show a horse show to remember will be unveiled Thursday evening.

Each weekday at 11:30 under the tent will be special guests sharing and reflecting on years gone by, including: Sue Annis and Nicky Caruso on Waseeka Farm; Bernard and Leslie Parker on Joe Parker Stables; Marilyn Childs on Changes Through the Decades; Nancy Caisse on Townsend Farm and Anna Ela; and Bruce Tompkins on Bar T Morgans and Orland Leader.

Announcements will be made and posted at the show as to who will be speaking each day.
