Candids of the Week




Reserve champion All American Cup weanling  Heir To The Empire with owner Tracy Garcia and handler John Conatser. The second place winner is by Undulata's  Heir Apparent out of Lady Katherine.


Linda Sullivan was all smiles as she left the ring with CH Summit Up as the Five-Gaited Pleasure Reserve Grand Champions. Trainer Mike McIntosh didn’t know it at the time, but he would receive the Golden Rule Award the following evening in center ring at All American Horse Classic.


Gib Marcucci came out of retirement long enough to help daughter Cindy Ireland and her husband Kevin show Hackney ponies at All American Horse Classic. He and Ruth McKenzie watched the action in the newly renovated coliseum.



Dawn Striegel showed off Gamora (Carl Lynn X Secret Of Attache) after she won the Iowa Futurity Weanling Filly class. The filly was reserve in an 18 entry Iowa Limited Breeders Weanling Stake as well. 


 
Clark Clouse rode Manipulating The Stars to the Three-Gaited Reserve Grand Championship for Harold Denton, Jr.


James Vantrease and Winsdown On Broadway (Winsdown Westinghouse X Winsdown New Thrill) posed for the cameras after a very successful go in the Iowa Limited Breeders Weanling Stake.  Louise C. Gilliland bred this fine colt who was the best of the best in a four horse work-off at the trot.
