Betsy Web Stables Hosts Their “Fun” Summer Classic

Betsy Web Stables held their fourth annual BWS Mid Summer Classic on August 9 at the Victory Knoll Farm in Louisville, Ky. Each year brings more barns to the show. This year, there were more than a dozen of the areas well known stables in participation.

The show has a fun and laid back atmosphere. With limited stall space, some barns even elected to show out of their trailers. BWS Mid Summer Classic, a one-day show that everyone has been looking for, offered something for everyone. The show is also a member of KAFHS. Not only did it have a full academy program in the morning, there was also a full line up of performance classes in the afternoon and evening. The show had a total of 51 classes.

Jennifer Gray judged the academy classes this year, doing a great job of getting the riders in and out in a timely manner. Melissa Johnson marked the cards for the performance classes. This year, BWS offered a perpetual memorial trophy in honor of world’s champion CH Callaway’s Skyrocket. The trophy was presented by the Wied family, the former owners of Skyrocket.
