ASHAV Offers Trainers’ Incentive

The upcoming American Saddlebred Horse Association of Virginia’s ASHAV Horse Show, scheduled for September 27-29 at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, is offering two cash drawings amounting to $5,000. Horse Show Chairman Carol Reedy announced the first drawing will be for all trainers bringing five or more horses and there will be (9) winners of $500 each drawn from that group. The second drawing will be for all trainers bringing less than five horses and there will be (1) winner of $500.
Managed by Kent Moeller, ASHAV offers a full line-up of classes for Saddlebreds, and Hackneys as well as UPHA Classics, Futurities and Academy classes. Other activities include an early arrival picnic, an exhibitor’s and sponsor’s reception, junior judging, a Fun Dog Show and more. Kristen Stivers has been selected to judge this year’s event.
ASHAV will be home to the ASR Two-Year-Old Sweepstakes in 2019.
