ASHA to webcast Annual Meeting forums, luncheons and Saddlebred Ball



 

Lexington, Ky. ­– ASHA will begin webcasting live on Friday several aspects of its 2007 Annual Meeting & Youth Conference, which takes place Thursday through Saturday, February 15-17 at the Embassy Suites of Lexington, KY.  The Association will utilize its website, www.saddlebred.com, to broadcast the Saddlebred Summit worldwide.  Those unable to attend this year’s convention will have an opportunity to watch and listen on Friday and Saturday during selected forums, luncheons and the Annual Prize Giving at the Saddlebred Ball as these events occur live. 

 

The webcast schedule is as follows:

Friday, February 16

9:30 a.m.11:30 a.m         Evolution & Future of Saddlebred Breeding forum 

11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.        ASHA Awards Luncheon

1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.         Advancement forum: Research, Advertising & Action Plans

 

Saturday, February 17

9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.        Scientific Advances in Breeding forum: Equine Genome Mapping, In Vitro Fertilization & Oocyte Transfer

10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.      ASHA Open Members Forum

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.        ASHA Annual Members Luncheon

1:15 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.         ASHA Annual Meeting

8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.         Saddlebred Ball & Annual Prize Giving from the Keeneland Race Course Entertainment Center

 

The webcast will be available for a per day fee of $10 for ASHA members and $20 for non-members.  The fee is not per event.  Customers receive all events webcast for the day purchased.  To purchase the webcast for either day or both days, visit www.saddlebred.com and follow the instructions provided.

 

Saddlebred Farms Open House Week is underway

 

The 2007 Saddlebred Farms Open House Week is underway and continues through Monday, February 19.  The Open House Week is provided to give Annual Meeting & Youth Conference attendees an opportunity to visit Saddlebred Farms and Stables throughout the region. 

 

Participating farm and stable owners’ visitation days and times as well as directions to each farm/stable location will be available at the Embassy Suites during the Saddlebred Summit.  For a current listing of participating farms/stables, click here
