AMHA and YTB Travel Launch Discount Travel Service

SHELBURNE, VT — The American Morgan Horse Association has aligned with the YTB Travel Network, forming an internet-based discount travel service that gives a percentage of the booking fees to the AMHA. The site, www.morganhorsetravel.com, works like similar discount travel websites, allowing individuals and groups to book travel arrangements, event tickets, and other travel related services.

In our increasingly mobile world more people are utilizing online services when making travel arrangements. By doing so through www.morganhorsetravel.com, individuals are choosing for the AMHA to receive a small commission from their purchase rather than other travel sites such as Expedia®, Travelocity®, or Orbitz®. There are no additional charges and in most cases rates found on www.morganhorsetravel.com are comparable or even lower than those found on other travel booking sites.

The AMHA is very enthusiastic about this venture and its ability to offer those interested in supporting the Morgan Horse a convenient and inexpensive avenue for doing so. Julie Broadway, Executive Director of the AMHA stated that, “AMHA is delighted to partner with YTB, a major online travel service to offer our members and their family and friends travel discounts. We hope they will take advantage of the low rates, while contributing funds to AMHA.” Recent partnerships between YTB and other non-profits such as the National Foundation for Cancer Research and Wayland Baptist University have experienced great success with this program.
