American Hackney Horse Society Announces 2023 Exhibitor Challenge Winner

The American Hackney Horse Society is proud to announce Elizabeth Ghareeb as the 2023 Exhibitor Challenge Champion! Elizabeth won a hard battle with 27 wins.
Rose Marie Wheeler was the winning bidder of the champion and will receive one-half of the funds raised from the auction held in February. That check will be for $3,662.50!
Reserve Championship honors go to Denise Trethaway with 13 wins. 
Elizabeth and Denise will each receive a championship leather halter donated by State Line Tack and a premium pony sheet donated by Kensington Protective Products.

All of our participants will be receiving prizes and ribbons and we thank them for their help in raising funds for the AHHS National Futurity.

    The World’s Championship Horse Show (WCHS) announced today that the Equine Sports Council (ESC) has been selected as the governing body ahead of the 2024 event. In February, the Kentucky State Fair Board unanimously approved the change, recognizing the importance of operating with Saddlebred-competition-tailored rules and standards emphasizing integrity, sportsmanship, and safety for the non-Olympic horse industry.
